Big Brain Test

About

Big Brain Test is a for-fun quiz. You get 15 questions and 10 minutes. It is not a clinical, educational, or employment IQ test, and it does not measure a real IQ.

The questions

There are 104 original questions in the pool: visual patterns, number sequences, logic puzzles, and word analogies. Each run picks 15 at random, then lines them up from easier to harder in three sets of five. Most of them are medium or hard.

The score

Easy questions are worth 1 point, medium 2, and hard 3. Your points out of the total for your set are placed on a scale where a middle-of-the-road result sits near 100, a perfect run lands around 140 to 145, and a very low one sits near 60. Finishing with time left can add up to 3 points. The final number stays between 55 and 145.

“Higher than X% of people” is where that score would fall on a bell curve centered at 100 with a spread of 15. It is a playful comparison, not a clinical norm. If other people have finished, the amber dotted line is the median of those anonymous scores.

You can play twice, then the quiz pauses for 12 hours. Your latest result stays on this device.

For entertainment. Not a clinical IQ test.
